Biography

Flutist Alexandra Pana is currently a Postgraduate student in the Soloist Class at The Danish National Academy of Music - Odense, under the instruction of professor Rune Most.

She is a music performer-flutist with an extensive artistic activity and a great organisational spirit, a passionate
and dedicated musician (performing and teaching) with a raised awareness concerning the power of
communication.

Specialities: music performance-flute, chamber music ensembles, orchestral instrumentalist, flute/music teacher,
music improvisation, interpretation, stage-presence.

Alexandra Pana was born in 1989 in Romania. She received her Bachelor of Music in Romania and in 2011 she
moved to Denmark to continue with her studies and work with renowned professors and musicians. In Denmark
she had the opportunity to study with Claus Ettrup Larsen ( principal flutist at Aalborg Symphony Orchestra ) and
under her Master studies with professor Rune Most ( principal flutist at Odense Symphony Orchestra).

Along with her studies she had the honour to play for and participate at masterclasses with internationally renowned flute
professors as William Bennett, Pierre Artaud, Andras Andorjan, Janos Balint , Gergeli Bodoky, Nicole Esposito
,Franz Juergen.

Beside classical music she also loves playing world music ( jazz-brazilian- folk music) and she recorded an
album with the brasilian singer and guitarist Raphael Gimenes. The album is called ‘’Raphael Gimenes & As
Montanhas De Som’’.

Alexandra is also very active in the Danish chamber music and orchestral environment and she performed in
several professional Symphony Orchestras as Odense Symphony Orchestra (Dk), professional orchestras in
Romania, Oslo Jazz Festival Norwegian Rikskringkasting and others.
